History Destiny in God often begins before most of us realize that every detail has been carefully orchestrated to bring us closer to Him. It is in the course of that destiny, the depth of the burdens we bear, many times, indicate the measure of impact that God has placed upon us. November of 1991 was one of those moments for Raymond Quintana in an encounter with heaven and hell that would forever change his life. While sitting in a Wal-Mart snack bar, a man pulled out a gun and shot himself at point blank range in front of him. As Raymond Quintana cautiously removed himself from the booth, the silhouette could be seen where the blood of the victim had splattered all around him. When he looked down at his shirt, he did not have one drop of blood on his person. A true miracle, and indication that God's hand was on his life. After a year of torment, Raymond Quintana found Jesus. In a time of trouble, he found the Lord at a morning service at Word of Life Christian Center in Denver. Immediately, he could feel the power and anointing of God on Dr. Tim Bagwell as he began to minister. Before the altar call, he found himself at the altar of God with the burden removed, and the yoke destroyed. In an instant, God miraculously delivered Raymond Quintana from the fear and guilt that had ruled his life, and sent him on a path that he could never have imagined. Pastor and Jody began serving at Word Of Life in Denver, and after nine years, the Spirit of the Lord began to lead Pastor in a new direction. He acquired a full-time staff position at Word of Life in Denver, where he served the ministry of Pastors' Tim and Gayla Bagwell. As the Minister of Operations, he oversaw 1,000 volunteers and staff, and became acquainted with over 300 ministry related functions. Serving under Dr. Tim Bagwell, God was preparing Pastor for a life of ministry. It was quickly evident that God had bigger plans for him. In just a short time, God promoted him and Jody to various positions at Word Of Life. The next decade produced great growth, favor, and supernatural outpouring of the Holy Spirit for him as he traveled to Brazil, South Africa, and Ghana West Africa. From 2002 to 2006, some of the greatest ministries in America imparted into Pastor's life. Great generals in the Spirit like T.D. Jakes, Rod Parsley, Jesse Duplantis, Paula White, Oral Roberts, Israel Houghton, Martha Munizzi, Phil Driscoll, Gary Oliver and many others deposited greatness into him. In August of 2004, the Spirit of the Lord spoke to Pastor Raymond about planting a new work in Lexington, Kentucky. While driving in the hills of Kentucky, near a town named Bethel, the Lord began to put a burden on his heart for the city of Lexington and the Bluegrass Region. Pastor realized that Bethel was the place where the sons of the prophets told Elisha that his spiritual father Elijah would be taken from him. Pastor knew that the Lord was speaking to him about entering into a season that he would be separated from his spiritual father, Dr. Tim Bagwell. Shortly after, God sent Pastor Raymond and Jody to do a work in Lexington, Kentucky. They are destined to make a deeper impact on this world, and believe that this congregation will meet needs, change lives, and loose a fresh anointing to all those who come into contact with us. They believe they are strategically positioned to make a regional and generational impact for the Kingdom of God in this new millennium. |
