Worship

If you draw closer to God, He will draw closer to you... At Word of Life there are at least eight basic components in a normal worship service: 1) the worship of God through music; 2) the preaching of the Word; 3) testimonies; 4) ministry time to pray for the sick, the hurting and the lost; 5) a time for God to speak to the church through the prophetic gifts; 6) fellowship; 7) baptisms and communion; and 8) church business (announcements, tithes and so on).

Therefore, it is important that we prepare our hearts for this special time. Because our worship brings God pleasure, it is to be done with a humble and sincere heart. Let's ask God to open our hearts to truly worship Him. While we can worship God anywhere at any time, there is something special about gathering with other believers. This is a time of corporate worship, but it is also a time for each person to make a connection with God.

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity"! -Psalm 133:1
